Call for Art Theme: Engaged: Sculpture as Catalyst for Social Change The Mid-South Sculpture Alliance is pleased to announce a call for art for an outdoor sculpture exhibition that explores the role of sculpture as a catalyst for social change and community building. We invite artists to submit up to three original, prefabricated outdoor sculptures that resonate with social awareness, education, and dialogue. About Mid-South Sculpture Alliance: The Mid-South Sculpture Alliance is dedicated to advancing the creation and awareness of sculpture in its many forms. We promote a supportive environment for sculptors and seek to foster dialogue between artists, art professionals, and the wider community. Location: Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark Sculpture Courtyard Submission Guidelines:
Eligibility: This call is open to all MSA members. Selection Process: A jury of art professionals and representatives from the Mid-South Sculpture Alliance and Sloss Furnaces Metal Arts Program will review all submissions and select sculptures for inclusion in the outdoor exhibition. Exhibition Details: Selected sculptures will be installed onsite at Sloss Furnaces.
