Anna Tsouhlarakis
Keynote Speaker

Anna Tsouhlarakis works in sculpture, installation, video, and performance. She received her BA from Dartmouth College with degrees in Native American Studies and Studio Art. She went on to receive her MFA from Yale University in Sculpture.

Her work has been part of national and international exhibitions at venues such as Rush Arts in New York, the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto, the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University, Crystal Bridges Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Native Arts, the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian, and the National Portrait Gallery. Tsouhlarakis has participated in various art residencies including Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Yaddo, and was the Andrew W. Mellon Artist-in-Residence at Colorado College for the 2019-2020 academic year. She was awarded a Creative Capital Grant in 2021 and recently received a 2022 Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Award.

Dylan Collins
Guest Artist & Iron Pour Lead

In his studio practice, Collins is particularly interested in fabrication techniques like sculptural blacksmithing and welding, as well as casting techniques using metal, plastic, and rubber. His studio work focuses on manipulating systems of classification and organization to draw attention to the complex relationship between organic bodies and the human made world. Recent exhibitions of Collins’s work include Pot Boiler at the Spartanburg Art Museum, Drawing Connections at the Boston Center for the Arts, Forged at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, Crossing the Line: Drawings by Sculptors at Buffalo State College’s Czurles-Nelson Gallery, Color Coded at Mississippi State University’s McComas Gallery, and Drawing Muchness at the University of North Florida Gallery of Art. 

Dylan Collins was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in rural east central Illinois. He attended Eastern Illinois University and received both a BA in 2-D Studio Art in 1996 and an MA in Sculpture in 1997. Collins earned his MFA in Sculpture from Kent State University in 2003.

A catalog documenting all four exhibitions will be produced after the exhibitions conclude. 
Artwork images, artist statements and biographies submitted for the jurying processes will be used for the catalog production.
